Concrete Scarifiers use tungsten cutters on a fast rotating drum to remove layers of concrete, asphalt and scale off steel. Depth of pass varies depending on the power of the machine and hardness of the material being scarified.

Scarifiers are used for removing high spots on concrete, foot path trip hazards, line marking from asphalt carparks and concrete walkways. They can also be used to remove screeds thick brittle coatings and membranes.
