Which floor stripper should I hire for my job?
It comes down to what you’re lifting and how you’ll get the machine onto the floor. For large areas of tiles, screed, membranes, vinyl, lino or carpet, our two ride-on strippers remove around 200m² an hour. The battery ride-on is the compact one.
It fits in lifts and through narrow doorways, so it’s the pick for high-rise and apartment refurbishments, and it comes with a drive-on, drive-off trailer. The LPG ride-on is the bigger machine, with hydraulic lift and pitch control, and up to 900kg of its weights come off for transport and lifts.
For cork, vinyl, lino or tiles, the 240V self-propelled stripper is the lighter option at 165kg and 495mm wide, with a high-speed oscillating blade that slices under the material.
